00 per hour (DOE) Full-Time | Day Shift | Year-Round Work Job Summary Premier Staffing Unlimited is currently recruiting for an Experienced HVAC Service Technician on behalf of a growing client in the Decatur area . We are looking for a skilled technician who can independently diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, handling complex service calls, and supporting less experienced technicians when needed. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems accurately and efficiently Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls, and communication system issues Perform preventative maintenance and complete HVAC inspections Install and replace compressors, evaporator coils, blower motors, condenser fan motors, and additional HVAC components Assist with complete HVAC system replacements and installations when required Support and assist junior technicians with troubleshooting and technical guidance Present repair and replacement options professionally to homeowners Complete service documentation, notes, and photos using company software Communicate effectively with homeowners, dispatch, office personnel, and management Maintain company vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment Follow company safety standards and procedures Participate in on-call rotation as required

QualificationsRequired:

Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC service experience EPA Certification required Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage a full schedule Experience servicing: Heat pumps Gas furnaces Package units Straight cool systems Air handlers Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable attendance and professional demeanor

Preferred:
