Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Installer and Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. As an integral part of our field service team, you will gain hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair while developing your mechanical and technical skills. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their expertise in HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and property maintenance within a fast-paced environment that values safety, quality workmanship, and team collaboration. Duties Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment following schematics and HVAC design plans Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment Conduct routine maintenance on heating, cooling, refrigeration, and appliance systems to ensure efficient operation Help with plumbing connections and ammonia refrigeration setups as required for specialized systems Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate installations Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, and equipment to job sites as a driver Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and general mechanical repairs in commercial or residential settings Qualifications Prior experience in construction, service technician roles, or field service is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC design, schematics, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R certifications is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately Mechanical or technical training related to HVAC or property maintenance is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for driver responsibilities Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service through technical expertise and teamwork. Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
