HVAC Technician We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Summary of Role:
Responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and assisting with building renovations and special projects. Standard work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on call rotation as needed
Responsibilities:
Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club through quality work and professionalism. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components. Perform preventive and routine maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. Complete assigned maintenance tasks independently and efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local and state codes. Assist with special construction projects and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Through understanding of HVAC systems up to 30 tons. Proficient in tools, materials, and techniques for HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 feet, and work in challenging environments (heights, humid conditions, airborne particles). Strong safety awareness and proper use of tools and equipment. Excellent communication skills and ability to foster positive team relationships. Commitment to AAC's core values.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-year hands-on experience with industrial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. Willingness to continue professional development in Facilities Maintenance. Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain). Stable work history.
