Job Description

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking a HVAC Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity! The position will be based out of Kennesaw, but will also travel to Austell and Lithia Springs warehouses. The ideal candidate is HVAC certified (and worked in commercial facilities), professional, and highly reliable.
Pay Rate :
$80,000-105,000/year Education Requirements for
HVAC Technicians:
High school diploma or equivalent GED. Requirements for
HVAC Technicians:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Must have at least 3-5 years of HVAC experience and have the necessary license and certifications required by the state Understand advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating, and have working knowledge of boiler systems. Thorough understanding of the latest HVAC technologies and trends. Able to work under supervision and independently. Able to read schematic and manufacturer materials. General mechanical aptitude. Good communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license. CDL not required. Ability to prioritize tasks. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of HVAC Technicians:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Performing routine maintenance ensuring all components of the HVAC system are installed and working correctly. Training junior team members. Communicating with clients and customers. Ordering and maintaining equipment. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
