Technician for First In Services (FIS) About First In Services First In Services (FIS) is a national facilities maintenance and commercial HVAC service company dedicated to delivering fast, reliable, and high-quality support for multi-site retail, restaurant, and commercial clients across the United States. Our teams specialize in preventative maintenance, reactive service, refrigeration, rooftop unit (RTU) inspections, and facility support designed to keep our customers operating efficiently and without interruption. HVAC EPM
Enhanced Preventative CARE Technicians to join our growing national service team. This role is responsible for performing scheduled Enhanced Preventative Maintenance

services on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), walk-ins, exhaust fans, economizers, ice machines, and related equipment. Technicians will complete detailed inspections, identify potential issues before failures occur, document findings through mobile reporting tools, and ensure all services meet FIS quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for CARE technicians who take pride in their work, communicate professionally, and enjoy working independently while representing a fast-growing national service organization. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and inspection services on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment Service and inspect rooftop HVAC units (RTUs), economizers, exhaust fans, walk-in coolers/freezers, and ice machines Replace filters, inspect belts, clean condenser and evaporator coils, verify Delta-T readings, inspect electrical systems, and confirm thermostat operation Identify and report equipment deficiencies, safety concerns, and repair recommendations Capture detailed photos and complete digital service documentation through FIS reporting platforms Maintain accurate and timely communication with dispatch, project management teams, and store management Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company procedures and customer standards Maintain professional appearance and customer service while representing FIS on-site Travel to multiple service locations within assigned territory Qualifications HVAC, mechanical, construction, maintenance, or technical experience is helpful but not required Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Positive attitude and professional communication skills Reliable attendance Comfortable working independently and outdoors in varying conditions Ability to use mobile devices and follow digital reporting procedures Valid driver's license required Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift equipment/materials as needed We Will Train the Right People At FIS, we believe success starts with three things: attitude, aptitude, and attendance.
