In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and proactive approach will be vital in delivering top-tier service and supporting our clients' operational needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with complex systems, develop your skills, and make a tangible impact in the field. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and related equipment at client locations. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency and longevity. Conduct repairs on mechanical components, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other related machinery. Lead on-site service calls with professionalism, providing clear communication to clients about work performed and recommended solutions. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members or supervisors on complex projects or installations requiring leadership or specialized expertise. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or field technician working with appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, or mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology is highly desirable. Construction or related trade experience is a plus for understanding installation environments and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary. Effective communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients and team members alike.
