Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across a variety of commercial and residential properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Required Skills Construction site experience Ductless mini-split HVAC systems Filter replacement Rooftop HVAC systems Service technician experience Split-system HVAC systems Required Licenses and Certifications Valid driver's license EPA 608 Technician Certification Required Experience HVAC industry experience 3 to 5 years of HVAC experience required Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and equipment inspections to prevent future failures. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe connections for refrigeration systems. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults within HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems. Repair or replace mechanical components like motors, fans, compressors, and other equipment essential for system operation. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, schematics used, and parts replaced for each job. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to property maintenance, appliance repair, welding procedures, and refrigerant handling regulations. Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites. Assist with property maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building operations. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong background in construction environments. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and the ability to read detailed schematics effectively. Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and familiarity with HVAC/R industry standards. Experience performing appliance repair, boiler maintenance, or mechanical equipment repair in commercial or residential settings. Field service experience working directly with clients on-site to diagnose issues quickly and provide effective solutions. Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC applications is highly desirable. Welding skills or certification is a plus for repairing or fabricating metal components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for safe operation of company vehicles.
