Pay Starting at: $40.00 hr DOE Western Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for Electrical Journeymen! We want someone with integrity and drive. Job Description:
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team of apprentices. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes Lead small crews and oversee apprentice electricians when needed Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
Qualifications:
Current and valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Idaho Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the electrical trade Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes Proficient in using hand and power tools, testers, and meters Valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
