In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC and related systems across commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety for our clients. We're looking for motivated professionals who thrive in field service environments and are eager to apply their technical skills to solve complex mechanical challenges. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Install new HVAC systems following design specifications and schematics, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings and drainage components. Read and interpret HVAC design documents, schematics, and technical drawings to guide repairs and installations. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed for each client site. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while providing excellent customer service in the field. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role with construction or property maintenance backgrounds. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC/R systems, boilers, refrigeration units, and appliances. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing practices, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Experience with welding techniques and equipment repair is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and experience working with field service teams is preferred.
