In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency across various property types. All positions are paid, including internships, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; repair or replace faulty components. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks as needed. Diagnose complex issues involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized refrigerants; ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed. Requirements Proven experience in construction or field service roles with a focus on HVAC or mechanical systems. Service technician experience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or appliance repair. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical knowledge. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; skilled in equipment repair and welding techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operation is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field under safety protocols.
