Job Description
HVAC Technician - In‑House Data Center (Quant Trading Firm)
You'll work closely with engineers and operations teams to maintain and optimize mission-critical mechanical and electrical systems supporting low-latency, high-density compute workloads.
What You'll DoSupport day-to-day operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of HVAC and critical infrastructure systems (cooling, power distribution, plumbing, backup systems)Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and system audits to ensure equipment operates within specificationAssist with infrastructure upgrades, optimizations, and system improvementsRespond to incidents and emergency conditions, helping diagnose root causes and restore systems quicklyMaintain detailed logs of maintenance activity, system performance, and issue resolutionPartner with facilities, IT, and security teams to protect data center uptimeSupport installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systemsAssist with IT infrastructure tasks as needed (racking, stacking, cabling)What We're Looking For3-5+ years of experience in HVAC, data center operations, or critical facilitiesWorking understanding of:
