In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal indoor climate control. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for our clients while supporting property maintenance operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment to prevent issues and extend system lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting, leak detection, and drainage troubleshooting. Repair appliances and mechanical components using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other specialized equipment. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards. Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment between job sites. Utilize welding skills for metal repairs on HVAC components or ductwork when necessary. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to heating and cooling systems to ensure continuous operation. Follow safety protocols during all field service activities including ammonia refrigeration handling where applicable. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ventilation units. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is highly desirable. Experience performing repairs and equipment maintenance in commercial or residential settings. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
