HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of mechanical systems, utilizing your technical knowledge and field service experience to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system modifications or upgrades. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and refrigeration units to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Utilize welding skills for equipment repair or fabrication tasks when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all completed tasks. Support property maintenance efforts by performing appliance repairs, field service tasks, and general mechanical troubleshooting as needed. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician or in a similar construction or property maintenance role. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters. Field service experience working on air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, plumbing systems, and equipment repair projects. Ability to operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites. Knowledge of welding techniques applicable to equipment fabrication or repair tasks. Experience working with mechanical components such as pumps, valves, motors, and control systems in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
