Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Air Conditioning Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of cooling systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and systems. Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs. Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely project completion. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC or related fields. Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to air conditioning installations. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Experience in refrigerating systems maintenance and repairs is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for service calls. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies in the HVAC industry. Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus.
