POSITION OVERVIEW
The Service Technician will serve as the liaison between Air Comfort and their customers. Their core priority is addressing customers' needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Management:
Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain various commercial HVAC systems, including package rooftop units, boilers, and components to ensure proper and safe operation.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertly utilize necessary tools and equipment; proficient in reading and interpreting installation/operation manuals, blueprints, diagrams, mechanical engineering schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Client Relations & Communication:
Respond to service requests, instruct customers on proper system operation, handle client relations professionally, and explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately compose detailed service reports after each visit and maintain preventative maintenance accounts.
Operational Excellence:
Collaborate with management and team members, escalate critical issues when necessary, and work effectively with minimal supervision while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Consultative Approach:
Make professional recommendations to clients to enhance and maintain facility efficiency and system longevity.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Local union 597 5 years' work experience in a fast-paced service department or within the mechanical/construction industry
WORKING HOURS
Monday - Friday 7:00A.M. to 3:00 P.M. LU 597 benefit / compensation package Air Comfort does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm or external recruiters.
