at Cloisters of Forest Hills in Rockford, Illinois, United States Job Description Residential Building Maintenance Position Cloisters of Forest Hills 2929 Sunnyside Drive Rockford, Illinois 61114 Cloistersjam1975@gmail.com We are seeking a reliable & versatile maintenance hire, part of a two member team, responsible for the physical integrity and aesthetic appeal for our independent, residential community. The ideal candidate is a pro-active problem solver who is equally comfortable fixing an electrical outlet as interacting professionally with our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General repair, routine maintenance: (electrical ballasts, outlets), (plumbing leaks, clogs, fixtures), HVAC, boiler (or willing to learn) 2.

Groundskeeping:

Maintain exterior curb appeal, including mowing & seasonal debris removal, ensure walkways and lots are clear & safe, snow plowing 3.

Inspections:

Conduct regular building walkthroughs to identify safety hazards, mechanical issues, or required aesthetic touch-ups 4. Respond to a wide range of service requests from residents, ensuring high-quality completion & clean-up 5.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure work is in accordance with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain records of repairs & inspections. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical versatility for electrical, plumbing and HVAC basics, pool cleaning Problem-solving; ability to diagnose issues quickly and determine the most efficient path to repair Professional conduct that includes exceptional communication skills and a 'resident-first" attitude. You will be entering people's condos, a high level of integrity and respect is mandatory. Flexibility with a willingness to handle a wide range of requests from minor handyman tasks to complex mechanical troubleshooting, remain on your feet for extended periods What we offer: A competitive hourly wage/salary with occasional on-call.
