Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

We're looking for an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to help keep our food processing facility running at peak performance—safely, efficiently, and very cool. What You'll Be Doing You'll be the go-to expert for keeping our refrigeration and utility systems in top shape.

That means:

Performing daily inspections to make sure everything is running smoothly Tackling work orders and preventative maintenance like a pro Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues (you love a good challenge) Keeping ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, compressors, and pumps operating flawlessly Managing water treatment systems, compressed air, and facility utilities Supporting plant-wide needs—because everyone loves a reliable problem solver Staying on top of safety programs (PSM, RMP, GMPs—you know the drill) Driving energy efficiency and sustainability efforts Bringing urgency, pride, and safety-first thinking to everything you do What You'll Work With If it runs, cools, pumps, or powers—we've got it: Ammonia refrigeration systems Compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves Steam boilers & water systems Electrical controls & PLCs Pneumatics & hydraulics Maintenance systems & tools What You Bring to the Team Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance (especially refrigeration & boilers) Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems Familiarity with safety standards like Lockout/Tagout, PSM, and ammonia safety Ability to work independently and think on your feet Willingness to work flexible shifts (because great techs keep things running 24/7) Basic computer skills and solid communication
