Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal climate control and mechanical efficiency across diverse property environments. In this role, you will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing components, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help maintain comfortable indoor environments while supporting property operations with precision and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians eager to apply their mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and perform mechanical repairs involving welding or equipment replacement. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems or property maintenance needs. Diagnose system failures in refrigeration, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and appliance repair scenarios with attention to detail. Maintain accurate service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs or installations performed. Operate field service vehicles responsibly as a driver while adhering to safety protocols. Support property maintenance efforts by inspecting systems regularly and addressing issues proactively to prevent downtime. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Hands-on experience with construction sites or property maintenance environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans is essential for effective troubleshooting. Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Skilled in appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and general equipment repair. Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing systems and property infrastructure is advantageous. Previous field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently or within a team under tight deadlines. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating service vehicles safely is required.
