Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Service Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical solutions. In this energetic role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC and related systems across diverse property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and property infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues and implement repairs. Conduct field service visits to client sites for installation, repair, or maintenance of HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical faults or perform component repairs. Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation for all work performed; communicate clearly with clients about system status and recommended solutions. Skills 2-6 years service experience Strong troubleshooting skills EPA certification required NATE or advanced training a plus Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or property maintenance. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations. Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; proficient in equipment repair and welding techniques. Familiarity with field service procedures across commercial or residential settings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration systems and electrical troubleshooting. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
