Come see us, we're better. Midwest Mechanical is growing fast, and we need real HVAC service technicians who can diagnose, repair, and complete service calls without being babysat. We are hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians for residential and light commercial service work in Wichita and the surrounding area. Work includes troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, refrigerant work, electrical diagnosis, airflow issues, equipment replacement recommendations, and customer communication. This is not a helper, apprentice, or entry-level position. We need technicians who have already run service calls on their own, diagnosed real problems in the field, made repairs correctly, and communicated with customers professionally. If you just graduated trade school and have not already completed HVAC service calls independently, this position is not for you. We are hiring experienced help only for this position. Responsibilities Service and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems Use ServiceTitan or similar field software to document work, collect information, and complete invoices Keep your truck, tools, paperwork, and jobs organized Follow company standards for quality, safety, communication, and production Requirements Must have experience running HVAC service calls independently Must be comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for job tracking Must be physically able to lift, climb, crawl, work in attics, rooftops, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor conditions On-Call Requirement This position requires participation in the on-call rotation. You must be willing and able to respond to after-hours service calls when scheduled. Work Environment This position requires real field work in real conditions. You may work in heat, cold, rain, attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, mechanical rooms, tight spaces, dirty areas, and active jobsites. You may be exposed to fumes, dust, vibration, moving mechanical parts, refrigerant, gas piping, and electrical hazards. If you are looking for an easy job where every day is comfortable, this is not it.
