Come talk to us. Midwest Mechanical is growing fast, and we need real HVAC installers who can produce clean, professional new construction work without being babysat. We are hiring an experienced HVAC Installer for rough-ins, ductwork, equipment installation, venting, refrigeration lines, gas piping, and finals on new homes and buildings in the Wichita and the surrounding area. This is not a helper-only position. We need installers who understand HVAC, can read blueprints, lay out work correctly, stay organized, and complete jobs cleanly and on schedule. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems from rough-in through final Install ductwork, boots, registers, grilles, plenums, returns, bath fan ducting, dryer vents, gas piping, venting, line sets, furnaces, coils, condensers, heat pumps, air handlers, and thermostats Read and follow HVAC plans, layouts, load requirements, and job specifications Complete rough-ins and finals cleanly, correctly, and on schedule Coordinate with builders, inspectors, other trades, and Midwest Mechanical management Keep jobs clean, organized, and ready for inspection Identify problems before they create delays Maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles Follow company standards for quality, safety, communication, and production Requirements Residential new construction HVAC experience required Must know how to rough in a house correctly Must understand duct layout, airflow basics, venting, gas piping, refrigeration lines, equipment placement, and code basics Ability to read plans and work independently Must have a valid driver's license Must be dependable, productive, and willing to be held accountable Must take pride in clean, professional work Must be able to work with builders, inspectors, and other trades professionally Preferred Journeyman mechanical license or apprentice card Experience with slab, basement, attic, garage, and mechanical-room installations Experience with furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, air handlers, zone systems, and ventilation Ability to lead a helper or small crew Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field software What We Offer Steady work with a fast-growing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company New construction volume with major growth ahead Competitive pay based on experience and production ability Company vehicle or vehicle allowance depending on role and qualifications Opportunity to move into lead installer or crew leader position Organized company structure with clear expectations Long-term opportunity for the right person Who This Job Is For This job is for an HVAC installer who wants steady work, clear direction, and the opportunity to grow with a company that is expanding aggressively.
