• Full-time Job description Polar Bear Heating and Air is looking for a HVAC residential who has their KY HVAC Journeyman's license.

We are a residential service company, occasionally doing light commercial work. We're in the business of helping people, but we offer a schedule that gives you plenty of time with your family. The essential functions of the HVAC Lead Installer would be to serve our customers by providing comfort by way of installing heating and air conditioning systems with the emphasis on quality installations, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. Maintaining a reputation for quality installations, as well as keeping the customer informed of what, when and how it will be done.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with and train any installation helpers which may be assigned to work with you
• Complete and sign-off on all Job Quality Checklists
• Maintain the equipment and inventory in your truck for maximum efficiency
• Attend required department meetings
• Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply
• Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Very genuine and personable is a must
• Strong steady work history with 3-5 years minimum as an installer
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Able to climb in attics, under houses and in box trucks
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Efficient and organized

Job Requirements:

• KY Journeyman (necessity)
• OH and WV license ( not a necessity)
• Prior HVAC install experience ( recommended 3-5 years experience)
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Have a high level of mental and physical aptitude
