Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring comfortable, safe, and efficient environments across various properties. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help optimize indoor air quality and energy efficiency while providing exceptional service to clients. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC system diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; execute repairs with precision. Manage property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, and general mechanical components. Assist in HVAC system design modifications or upgrades based on client needs or new regulations. Operate a variety of field service tools and vehicles safely while maintaining accurate service logs and reports. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields; construction background is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance servicing. Familiarity with schematics reading, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration. Ability to work independently in the field performing property maintenance tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Knowledge of plumbing systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration components, and HVAC/R standards. Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters and experience with welding techniques for repairs or fabrication. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
