Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality service every day. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential properties Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting Conduct system diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to identify issues and perform repairs Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts as needed Collaborate with clients to explain system operations, maintenance procedures, and answer any questions about their HVAC systems Utilize plumbing skills for proper refrigerant line installation and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and installation records Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems Proven experience as a service technician or field service professional in HVAC or related trades Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for proper system installation and troubleshooting Knowledge of HVAC design principles and property maintenance practices Experience with appliance repair, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operation Skilled in welding, equipment repair, and general construction techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred Familiarity with plumbing connections, refrigerant handling, and ammonia refrigeration safety protocols Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various field service environments Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional comfort solutions!
