Job Description

Position:
HVAC TECHNICIAN
Definition:
Under administrative direction, is responsible for maintaining and or repairing all electrical equipment, apparatuses and buildings under the jurisdiction of
Chennault International Airport Authority Salary Range:
$62,000 - $73,000 ADDITIONAL

Duties:
Is responsible for all electrical/HVAC maintenance of all CIAA buildings and grounds. Inspects all crucial HVAC equipment maintained by CIAA. Assigned Inspector Duties on various projects and reports to Facilities Supervisor Design of small scale electrical circuits for routine maintenance applications. Other work and responsibilities assigned by Facilities Supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of HVAC/Electrical Considerable knowledge of the basic Electrical/HVAC requirements applicable to maintenance operations. Considerable knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Ability to safely perform Electrical and HVAC Duties on day-to-day maintenance program. Must be able to troubleshoot Chillers, Boilers, Split units, package units, VAV Boxes, automated valves, Industrial type exhaust fans, pumps, energy management systems. Ability to work around 480 Volt Equipment and Wiring
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Electrician/HVAC classification or degree in Electrical/HVAC Technology acceptable. Must have EPA Certification Minimum of five years' experience as an HVAC Technician. Must be able to work off of an elevated platform and man lifts. Must be able to read and interpret prints, electrical schematics and trouble shoot control circuits. Ability to work overtime and callouts Must be able to perform work in a safe and cooperative manner. Must be able to provide an Up-to-Date Resume' with Referrals.
