About the job:
You will be installing and replacing HVAC equipment in new construction, existing homes and businesses. Supporting your teammates and ensuring that the job goes as planned is the top priority. You'll be provided with a complete job description at the interview.
About you:
In short, we are looking for an installer that has a very particular set of skills.
You should possess:
an overwhelming desire to do work that you're proud of a sense of integrity that would make an eagle scout feel self-conscious the desire to get better each time you perform a task the ability to work collaboratively with other tradesmen to execute the strategy for the job at hand a burning determination to finish the job the right way the verbal skills to help customers understand what we're doing for them a powerful curiosity a strong sense of craftsmanship a summer or three working a crap job digging ditches or landscaping the ability to thrive in whatever heat, wet, cold or general nastiness that Mother Nature can throw at us in Louisiana the strength and coordination to safely pick up heavy objects, climb all kinds of ladders and maintain balance in attic spaces a pocket knife on your person at all times Don't apply if you can't/don't: own basic hand tools (we can give you a shopping list if you need one) pass a drug screen and background check have a valid driver's license know that being on time means showing up early have a GED or high school diploma have reliable transportation and the ability to show up every day Extra points given if: you have any NATE certifications you have EPA certification you can tell us all about the last book that you read you have been through any trade school you have some college education but were smart enough to get out of that racket before they stole four years of your life you have been through any factory training programs from applicable fields you have a hobby that some people might call weird You must submit a resume to be considered for this position.
