Classified Staff Department:
Operations & Maintenance Responsibility / Duty Oversees the installation, repair, alteration, maintenance and control of refrigeration, heating, ventilating and cooling systems.
Percentage Of Time:
40 Responsibility / Duty Serves as primary field contact, calling and communicating with specialized contractors for necessary repairs when needed. Oversees the installation, diagnosis, repair and adjustments on all control meter instruments involved in large areas or equipment heating and cooling.
Percentage Of Time:
10 Responsibility / Duty Assigns and inspects the work of HVAC Refrigeration Master Mechanics, HVAC Refrigeration Mechanics, Maintenance Repairers and Trades Apprentice.
Percentage Of Time:
10 Responsibility / Duty Assists in programming the computer for heating and air conditioning systems for the connected buildings.
Percentage Of Time:
10 Responsibility / Duty Recommends changes in heating, cooling, and general refrigeration equipment and its usage.
Percentage Of Time:
5 Responsibility / Duty Prepares cost estimates of jobs according to labor and material requirements.
Percentage Of Time:
5 Responsibility / Duty Initiates and conducts subordinates' training.
