The ideal candidate will perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of commercial HVAC-R systems across multiple buildings. This role requires strong experience with chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, BAS, CMMS platforms, and refrigeration systems. Candidates must be comfortable working in a 3rd shift environment and participating in an on-call rotation schedule. Required Qualifications Active Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License Minimum 3+ years of HVAC/Refrigeration troubleshooting experience Experience with BAS and/or CMMS systems Experience supporting chillers, cooling towers, and VAV systems EPA Refrigerant Certification / Universal EPA-CFC Certification Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes Ability to read mechanical blueprints and schematics Valid Driver's License Ability to work on roofs, in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor License Commercial boiler systems experience Electrical controls and motor controls experience Experience in commercial or industrial building maintenance Knowledge of emergency backup systems and energy conservation practices Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems Monitor chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and mechanical equipment Respond to alarms and emergency maintenance situations Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Maintain accurate CMMS work orders and documentation Repair pumps, motors, compressors, heat exchangers, valves, and piping Support emergency backup systems and building operations Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards Skills Required HVAC Repair Refrigeration Systems
