This role is ideal for a skilled HVAC professional who enjoys hands-on work in large, complex building environments and wants the stability of a union position. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanic position include: Minimum of 5 years of progressive, hands-on HVAC experience in commercial or industrial settings within a large, complex environment. Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License and EPA Universal certification required. HVAC Journeyman License preferred. Perform Journeyman-level HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance. Service refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation, heating systems, and related controls. Read and understand blueprints, schematics, specifications, and basic computer applications. Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork, tubing, piping, controls, filters, and related HVAC components. Respond to emergency after-hours call backs as determined by the facility coordinator.

Salary :

$58.04 per hour, commensurate with experience.
