Job Description
We are a growing home services company specializing in residential HVAC, energy efficiency, weatherization, and related home improvement solutions. We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both maintaining existing systems and installing new units, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort.
Responsibilities:
Install and remove HVAC systems in residential properties. Run pipe and duct systems through homes and ensure proper fitment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Understand and apply knowledge of refrigeration cycles and temperature/pressure data. Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Conduct warranty services as required. Train and mentor junior team members. Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations. Order and maintain equipment and supplies as needed. Ensure all work meets local HVAC codes and safety standards. Maintain accurate logs and records for all service and maintenance work.Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; trade school certification preferred. 1+ year of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related role. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and heating principles. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical data. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license required. EPA 608 Certification preferred. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or physically demanding spaces. Availability for occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency calls.Job Type:
