Position Overview:
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll represent our company in the field, providing top-notch service and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, Ductless units, boilers, furnaces, controls, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring continuous operation. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting, drainage setup, and refrigerant line installation or repair. Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication. Maintain detailed service records including logs of inspections, repairs performed, parts replaced, and system performance reports. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Requirements 5+ years of Proven experience as an HVAC service technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience of refrigeration, boiler systems, and HVAC/R equipment. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams; familiarity with HVAC design principles is highly desirable. Experience in plumbing work related to HVAC systems; knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Field service experience working on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, boilers, or other mechanical equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate vehicles safely. Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to perform equipment repair accurately. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; strong communication skills for working with team members and clients alike. Comfortable using iPads, email, and field service software Certifications in HVAC/R technology are preferred; ongoing training is advantageous. Join us to bring your technical expertise into action!
