  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to property maintenance and service excellence. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they lead to failure. Conduct plumbing and refrigeration repairs as needed to support HVAC system functionality. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and safety documentation for all maintenance activities. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of construction principles related to building systems integration. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design concepts, and mechanical drawings. Experience working with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding, and equipment repair. Ability to operate field service tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred. Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and mechanical components. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety protocols. Certification or experience in refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), HVAC/R systems, or related fields is a plus.
