Job Overview:
Residential & Commercial (Repair & Replacement) Turn Service Calls Into Accurate, High-Value Estimates We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Service Estimator to support both our residential and commercial service divisions. This role is responsible for converting technician work orders and service call diagnostics into clear, accurate repair and replacement estimates across a wide range of HVAC equipment. You will play a key role in turning field service findings into actionable proposals that help customers make informed decisions and keep projects moving forward. What You'll Do Review technician work orders, service reports, and diagnostic notes from residential and commercial jobs Evaluate system conditions to determine repair vs. replacement recommendations Prepare accurate estimates for HVAC systems, components, controls, labor, and materials Work with both residential and commercial equipment including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, furnaces, chillers, and heat pumps Communicate with technicians to clarify field findings and scope of work Develop clear, professional proposals tailored to customer needs and system requirements Follow up on service opportunities to help drive approvals and project execution Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure smooth job transitions What We're Looking For HVAC experience in service, estimating, or project sales (residential and/or commercial) Strong understanding of HVAC systems across both residential and commercial applications Ability to interpret technical service reports and diagnostic data Familiarity with rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and other commercial equipment is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information for customers Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple active service opportunities What We Offer Competitive base pay + performance-based incentives Consistent flow of opportunities from active residential and commercial service calls Supportive team environment with experienced technicians and management Training and growth opportunities across both service and project divisions Direct impact on revenue generation and customer satisfaction Why This Role Matters Every service call represents an opportunity—whether residential comfort or commercial system reliability.
