Job Description

Currently seeking a highly motivated, technically skilled Field Services Technician to join our growing team. This role will be primarily out in the field, traveling extensively throughout the Northeast and periodically to the Carolinas, making critical measurements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our HVAC solutions are installed and performing to the highest standard to ensure our products are designed, built and delivered right every time. The ideal candidate thrives on independence, problem-solving, and delivering results, and will be the go-to expert on site for precise AHU curb and adaptor field measurements, warranty assessments, and occasional installation support. This role will have a direct impact in ensuring our products are built right, fit right, and perform right; the first time. Works under limited supervision. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Carolinas Essential Functions:
  • Field Measurements:
    Travel to customer sites to take precise field measurements for AHU curbs, adaptors, and related products.
  • Warranty Support:
    Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve warranty issues forAHU product line.
  • Technical Problem-Solving:
    Diagnose issues in a wide range of HVAC applications, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Installation Assistance:
    Provide on-site installation support for AHU products as needed.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Act as a professional, knowledgeable representative — communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build trust.
  • Self-Management:
    Independently schedule, plan, and execute site visits, managing time and resources effectively.
  • Documentation:
    Record accurate site data, photos, and measurements; prepare detailed service and measurement reports.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient with measurement tools, hand tools, and basic power tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record; willing to travel extensively.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance when needed.
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of HVAC installation, service, or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong understanding of AHUs, curbs, adaptors, and rooftop HVAC systems is preferred, but are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Experience with warranty service and field measurement in HVAC applications.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication or rooftop equipment installation is preferred but are willing to train the right candidate.
