Strong technical skills, reliability and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities Perform backflow testing — conduct certified testing on backflow prevention assemblies to ensure compliance with local regulations. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues — identify problems, recommend solutions, and complete repairs efficiently. Replace backflow devices — remove, install, and verify proper operation of new assemblies. Service HVAC systems — troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating and cooling equipment as needed. Document all work performed — complete service reports, testing forms, and job notes accurately. Communicate with customers — explain findings, answer questions, and provide professional recommendations. Ensure compliance with safety standards — follow company procedures and industry regulations at all times. Maintain tools and equipment — keep company tools, vehicles, and testing equipment in proper working order. Skills Extensive experience in construction environments with a focus on plumbing and HVAC systems. Proven service technician experience with a strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles thoroughly. Skilled in field service operations with a focus on appliance repair and property maintenance. Familiarity with air conditioning systems, boilers, welding techniques, and equipment repair. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in HVAC/R diagnostics and troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties.
