About the Role As a Residential HVAC Service Specialist, you will serve as a vital technical expert dedicated to restoring comfort and efficiency to home environments. You will leverage your diagnostic expertise to resolve complex climate control challenges, ensuring that heating and cooling systems operate at peak performance for our valued clients. Responsibilities Execute precise diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify root causes of HVAC system failures. Perform comprehensive repairs and preventative maintenance on furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units to extend equipment lifespan. Manage the seamless installation of new climate control hardware, verifying optimal system integration and performance. Drive customer satisfaction by providing clear, professional explanations of technical issues and recommended solutions. Document all service activities and equipment modifications to maintain detailed maintenance histories. Uphold rigorous safety standards and industry compliance protocols during every site visit. Continuously refine your technical skillset by staying current with emerging HVAC technologies and energy-efficient practices. Qualifications Required Skills Active EPA Universal or Type 2 certification. Demonstrated field experience in residential HVAC maintenance and repair. Strong analytical aptitude for complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Physical capability to handle heavy equipment and navigate various residential workspaces. Preferred Skills Formal technical school training or certification in HVAC systems. Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service in a home-service environment. Ability to balance independent project management with collaborative team objectives.
