Essential FunctionsAssigning work tasks to technicians, scheduling maintenance visits, and coordinating with other trades or contractors. Planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs, overseeing repairs of HVAC equipment, and ensuring systems are operating efficiently.
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems, often requiring a strong understanding of HVAC principles and troubleshooting techniques.
Monitoring the quality of work performed by technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Providing on-the-job training and mentoring new technicians.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed, preparing reports, and documenting any issues to include local, state, federal regulations and EPA guidelines. QualificationsValid Maryland Masters HVAC license required. CFC Certification required.
High school diploma or GED required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.
Valid driver's license in good standing required. First Aid Certification is required.
Minimum of 7 years experience in lite commercial building HVAC, residential HVAC, water source heat pumps and residential boiler/chiller air handling units.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, crawl under equipment, and work in cramped spaces at times.
