HVAC Technician - Mechanical Contractor
HVAC TechnicianProjects' Locations:
Baltimore, Gaithersburg, Maryland, Washington DC Region
  • Qualified candidate to reside within an hour of this region.
Our Client, provides top-tier HVAC services, customer satisfaction, and quality craftsmanship to both residential and commercial clients. They are currently seeking an experience, professional and safety-minded Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician to join their growing team.

This is a full-time role as a Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician serving the DC Metro area. The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing maintenance and repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to EPA regulations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
  • Experience performing Troubleshooting, Preventive Maintenance and Repair on mechanical/plumbing systems
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
  • Knowledge of EPA regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Relevant certification or degree in HVAC or related field
  • EPA Certification (Section 608) required
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects at times
  • Valid driver's license (MVR reviewed per company insurance policy standards)
  • Drug testing required
General Responsibilities:
  • Perform HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide solutions in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing their needs
  • Ensure that all work complies with local codes and regulations
  • Complete service reports, job documentation, and time tracking accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Compensation & Scheduled Overview:
  • Hourly Pay range typically $30.00 and up based on experience
