Sr HVAC Technician

Overview:

Hugee Corporation is seeking a motivated, experienced HVAC Technician. The successful Technician candidate provides preventive maintenance inspections, installs, and repairs to Residential & Commercial HVAC equipment. The position will be mobile to ensure clients throughout the DMV remain comfortable in their indoor spaces. A company work vehicle & fuel card is provided.

Qualifications:

4 or more years Residential & Commercial HVAC Technician Independent ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems Technical training through trade school or equivalent work experience EPA Universal CFC certification Proficient in troubleshooting systems, performing startups and response to system restarts, lifting and rigging Sound mechanical ability Ability to handle physical labor

Responsibilities/Requirements:

Repairing and performing unsupervised repairs & preventive maintenance on all residential & commercial HVAC equipment for emergency and non-emergency situations Install/Repair/Replace Commercial & Residential HVAC equipment i.e. split systems & package units and all other associated tasks Respond to service calls promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations Proficiency in handling refrigerants and adhering to environmental regulations Work effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers; determine best practices for repair work and assess downtime with clients Create and maintain computer database records on all equipment worked on & maintain truck inventory Maintain Hugee Corporation's high standard of service Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergency service as needed
