We're looking for a strong service technician who knows how to diagnose, repair, and take care of customers — and who is also skilled at installs when needed. What You'll Do Service & Repair (Primary) Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems Work on: heat pumps, gas furnaces, A/C, ductless, and some boilers and oil systems Deliver strong customer communication and build trust Maintain high first-time fix rates and minimize callbacks Install Work (Preferred) Install heat pumps, gas furnaces, A/C, ductless, and some boilers and oil systems Set equipment, run line sets, wire systems, and assist with startups Troubleshoot install-related issues Operations & Team Contribution Work closely with dispatch, office staff, and leadership to keep jobs moving and efficient Maintain truck stock, vehicle readiness, and job readiness Support inventory management and vendor coordination Utilize FSM/CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan) for job tracking and reporting Provide feedback to leadership on job progress, customer satisfaction, and operational improvements Help us build a strong HVAC division the right way What We're Looking For 4+ years of residential HVAC service and repair experience (not just maintenance) 4+ year of experience running your own service truck Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across heat pumps, gas furnaces, A/C, ductless, boilers, and oil systems 1-2+ years of install experience preferred — able to perform installs when needed Ability to complete work cleanly, correctly, and to code with minimal callbacks EPA Certification required Maryland HVAC Journeyman or Master license preferred, but not required (Apprentice-licensed technicians with strong service experience who are working toward their journeyman's are encouraged to apply) Hardworking, dependable, and willing to do demanding field work Able to work in a growing company where not every process is fully built yet Strong communication and professionalism Commitment to safety and quality Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future Physical Requirements This role requires physical stamina and manual labor in a variety of environments, including attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, ladders, and non-climate-controlled spaces.
