Comprehensive benefits package included Work Locations Projects are located throughout: Laurel, Maryland Washington, DC Baltimore, Maryland Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead to oversee and perform the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive field installation experience, and proven duct fabrication expertise. This role is responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise HVAC installation teams on assigned projects. Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and local building codes. Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork using sheet metal and other approved materials. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and construction plans. Coordinate labor, materials, and daily job site activities to keep projects on schedule. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and proper system performance. Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide technical guidance to team members. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors regarding project status and requirements. Train and mentor junior installers and apprentices. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. Duct fabrication experience is required. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation procedures, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment and tools. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in environments such as rooftops, attics, and confined spaces. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications EPA Certification. Completion of an HVAC technical training program. Experience in both residential and commercial HVAC installations. Previous experience in a Lead Installer or Foreman role.
