HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our HVAC systems. The position involves a variety of tasks including inspection, installation, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment. Responsibilities Inspect and estimate HVAC repairs. Spec and order HVAC equipment. Install HVAC equipment ensuring all work is up to code. Act as an on-site supervisor for HVAC work and provide regular reports of team activities to relevant team leaders and managers. Troubleshoot system problems and resolve HVAC issues. Communicate with clients and inspectors to meet requirements and expectations. Train and mentor co-workers on basic HVAC improvements. Work equally well independently and as part of a team. Perform combustion and airflow diagnostic tests. Manage projects and other HVAC technicians as needed for larger commercial and multifamily projects. Essential Skills HVAC Journeyman license. 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician including documented project experience. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead or support teams as needed. Excellent customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HVAC, mechanical repair, and split systems. Proficiency in field service, installation, and sheet metal work. Capability to work in various physical positions required by electrical contracting work. Ability to work in unconditioned environments (e.g. hot, cold, rain, wind, humid). Comfort with working on ladders, uneven surfaces, and at heights using scaffolding, lifts, and ladders. Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to perform work. Capability of lifting 50 pounds of materials or a ladder. Why Work Here?
