The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work on various types of residential heating and cooling equipment including heating oil systems, work with various refrigerants, and ensure that all installations meet industry codes and safety regulations. Duties Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating oil burners for residential and commercial customers Maintain and repair existing HVAC systems as needed. Ability to work on Oil burners, and heating oil systems. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions. Drive company vehicles to job sites as required, ensuring safe transportation of equipment and materials. Follow safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential and commercial settings. Build relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service during installations and maintenance visits. Assisting with facility upkeep at our shop location when needed. Experience Knowledgeable in working on oil burners Minimum 3 year experience in HVAC service and installations. Familiarity with refrigerants and the ability to handle them safely. Experience reading schematics and technical drawings is essential. Previous work as a van driver or service technician. Knowledge of boiler systems.
