We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. Position Summary The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and indoor air quality systems. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues. Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers. Complete service tickets, documentation, and inventory records accurately. Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle. Participate in on-call rotation as needed. Promote maintenance agreements and recommend system upgrades when appropriate. QualificationsRequired 3+ years of HVAC service experience. EPA Section 608 Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Preferred Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Knowledge of smart thermostats, zoning systems, and indoor air quality products. Sales and service agreement experience.
