In this role, you will be the face of our craftsmanship in the field, executing clean, precise residential and commercial HVAC installations. While your primary focus is top-tier installation, you must have the willingness to perform light service calls and maintenance on an as-needed basis or when installation scheduling is slow. Experience & Requirements
  • Experience:
    5+ years of residential and/or commercial HVAC installation experience required.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Proven experience with furnace changeouts and gas piping installations. Highly proficient with modern piping techniques and professional-grade tooling, including propress, Zoomlock, and Megapress.
  • Equipment Expertise:
    Strong background installing a wide variety of heating and cooling equipment.
  • Adaptability & Growth:
    A continuous learning spirit with a strong willingness to apply your 5+ years of experience while remaining flexible enough to adapt and learn how we operate at Kulicamp Mechanical.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • We are a drugfree workplace, all candidates will be subject to a preemployment drug screening. Essential Functions
  • Install residential and commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits) to the highest quality standards.
  • Fabricate and modify transitions and sheet metal ductwork on-site for a clean, professional finish.
  • Perform light service calls, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on residential and commercial equipment as needed to support the team.
  • Ensure all work complies with local mechanical codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform thorough start-ups, safety checks, and complete detailed equipment commissioning logs to guarantee proper system operation.
  • Demonstrate strong foresight and proactive analysis to identify potential sight obstructions and resolve installation conflicts before project execution.
Customer Facing & Communication:
  • Maintain a professional, clean demeanor and respect the customer's property at all times.
  • Walk the customer through the newly installed system, explaining basic operation, thermostat programming, and maintenance expectations.
  • Coordinate with the Office and Dispatch Coordinator regarding job progress, completion times, and material needs.
Jobsite Logistics & Safety:
  • Maintain total ownership of company tools, equipment, and truck inventory.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of refrigerants, recovery equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, continuing education, and keeping up with evolving industry tech and equipment standards. Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Scale:
    $26.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience and overall technical proficiency.
  • Paid Time Off:
    40 hours of paid time off.
Paid Holidays:
6 paid holidays per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day).
Pay:
$26.00 - $36.00 per hour
