In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and design specifications Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment to ensure optimal performance Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for accurate installation and repair Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and drainage connections Repair and service appliances and mechanical components using tools like ohmmeters, welders, and other specialized equipment Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units and resolve mechanical or electrical faults Ensure compliance with safety standards by properly handling refrigerants, including ammonia-based systems, and adhering to environmental regulations Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to support building operations and tenant comfort Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC installer or service technician with a strong background in construction environments Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance servicing Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology—including ammonia refrigeration—and electrical troubleshooting Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently in diverse locations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and property maintenance practices Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately Strong mechanical aptitude complemented by welding skills and familiarity with boiler systems is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values technical expertise, safety, and innovation.
