Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing heating and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems effectively. The technician will work in both residential and light commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling systems. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC units. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide field service support by responding to service calls in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls. Repair appliances related to HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of mechanical services. Strong knowledge of heating and cooling systems. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively using diagnostic tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license may be required for service calls at various locations. Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is mandatory. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for emergency repairs. EPA certification is Mandatory. Pay based on experience. Boiler, GEO Thermal, Light Commercial, and Fuel Oil Experience is a Plus.
