Competitive Pay:
25.00-40.00 per hour, based on experience + bonus opportunities

Your work is recognized, your input matters, and your future is a priority Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to the job sold Connect plumbing lines and refrigerant piping with precision, ensuring optimal system performance as needed Use technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and brazing equipment for lineset installation when necessary Read and interpret dispatched job descriptions to assemble and install equipment Conduct system start-up procedures, verify proper operation, and perform initial testing to ensure safety and efficiency Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing HVAC systems in residential properties Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections for quality assurance Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC installation or service technician roles with a strong mechanical background Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), plumbing, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance practices Hands-on experience with boiler systems, brazing techniques, and equipment installation Ability to operate field service tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately Experience working with air conditioning systems and ammonia refrigeration is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities in a residential customer-focused environment Discover more about Vander Hyde Mechanical and what drives us by visiting our website: https://www.vanderhyde.com/about-us.
