HVAC Technician Redmon Heating and Cooling Grandville, MI Job Details Full-time $22 - $34 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable, motivated HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while working safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance and system inspections. Install HVAC equipment, accessories, and components as needed. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues. Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers. Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation. Follow company safety procedures and industry standards. Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergency service when scheduled. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory. Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC service. EPA Certification (preferred). Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions. NATE certification preferred but not required.
