HVAC Tech

Job Summary:

Perform building facility maintenance duties to ensure a reliable supply of chill water, compressed air and HVAC supply.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience for HVAC. Must have obtained all certifications for handling refrigerant within OSHA and EPA standards. Excellent communication, analytic, problem solving, and organizational skills Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team and independently with little to no supervision. Must have a good knowledge of the English language Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator and aerial work platform licenses. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge / experience / background. Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements Knowledge of

ISO 9001/IATF 16949

Essential Functions:

Always operate equipment safely. Monitor and maintain air compressors, chillers and plant HVAC equipment. Monitor and maintain air leaks throughout the facility using available technology. Perform all PMs related to facilities equipment and log work orders utilizing the plant

CMMS EMAINT.

Maintain plumbing and fixturing in plant restrooms and breakrooms. Clean facilities equipment to facilitate inspections and repairs Monitor and maintain inventory levels of facilities supplies Perform special projects and assignments at the request of the Facilities Manager, Facilities Engineer or Maintenance Manager. Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Facilities Manager, Facilities Engineer or Maintenance Manager. Work Environment:

100% Plant Floor (PPE Required), may be exposed to seasonal weather conditions while performing the duties of this job
